B) BY POST:
Send a request letter and enclose a photocopy of your ID card.
2. By a third party
A) On site

The person who deposited or sent the file ALSO needs a duly legalised original authorisation.
B) BY POST:
Another person applies by post and encloses a photocopy of their ID card and an original authorisation signed by you. That authorisation must be dated in the current year and legalised by the competent authorities of your place of residence.
The person who deposited or sent the file ALSO needs a duly legalised original authorisation.
Please indicate the address you wish your originals to be returned by registered mail to in the letter with the return request (your address abroad or your contact here in Belgium).
For documents of a minor applicant, the parents or the legal guardians have the right to collect them by proving the family relationship with the applicant.
The other documents (excerpt of the birth certificate, proof of payment, certified copy, translations, proof of non-issue...) will be stored in the file and therefore cannot be returned
